Christopher A. Coughlin is Executive Vice President, Group President of the Company. He joined Timken in 1984 in the company's steel operations, working on the original Faircrest Steel Plant project. He subsequently served as business development manager and held management positions in the company's European headquarters in Colmar, France, including vice president of industrial equipment, vice president of process industries and vice president of primary metals. He was named senior vice president of supply chain and Project O.N.E., during which time he led a multiyear initiative to streamline business processes and implement an enterprise resource planning system. Since 2010, he has been president of Process Industries and Supply Chain. Coughlin serves on the board of directors of the American Bearing Manufacturers Association and the Akron Canton Foodbank. He holds a bachelor's degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a master's degree in business administration from Case Western Reserve University.
