Stan R. Soroka serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer of the Company. Mr. Soroka is responsible for all resort operations and HGV’s Club program, as well as brand standards for resorts and the overall organization. From May 2010 to January 2015, Mr. Soroka served as Hilton’s area vice president for Florida and Hilton Grand Vacations Resort Operations; and in this dual capacity, he oversaw hotel operations for Hilton, Doubletree, Embassy Suites, and Waldorf Astoria properties throughout Florida, as well as the Conrad Miami. His responsibilities also included oversight of timeshare resort operation functions for HGV’s developed properties in Las Vegas, New York, Orlando, and South Beach, Miami. A second-generation hotelier, Mr. Soroka has more than 35 years of experience successfully operating renowned hotels and resorts including serving as managing director of the Waldorf Astoria El Conquistador Resorts and Las Casitas Village in Puerto Rico from 2005 until 2010. Prior to joining Hilton in 2005, Mr. Soroka held leadership roles at Oakbrook Hotels, Vail Resorts Management, and H.B.E. Hotels and Resorts. Mr. Soroka began his hospitality career with Hyatt Hotels Corporation in the stewarding department, where he quickly moved up the ranks of food and beverage, before transitioning to front office operations and management. Mr. Soroka earned a Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality management from the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston.
