Dr. Hung is the founder, president, chief executive officer and director of Nuvation Bio, Inc., a biotech company, since June 2019. Dr. Hung was previously chief executive officer and a director of Axovant Sciences, Inc., a pharmaceutical company, from April 2017 to February 2018. As a founder of Medivation Inc. (“Medivation”), a biopharmaceutical company, he served as president, chief executive officer and a director of Medivation from 2004 to 2016. From 1998 until 2001, Dr. Hung was employed by ProDuct Health, Inc., a privately held medical device company, as chief scientific officer from 1998 to 1999 and as president and chief executive officer and director from 1999 to 2001. He has been Director of ARYA Sciences Acquisition Corp. since September 2018 and director of Establishment Labs Holdings Inc. since February 2016.
