He is the founder and President of Business Strategy Advisors LLC, a business strategy consultancy firm that focuses on serving technology, information and entertainment companies, and has served in such capacity since August 2002. Mr. Reck joined the certified public accounting firm of KPMG LLP in June 1973 and remained employed there until his retirement as a partner in July 2002. He currently serves on the board of directors and chairs the audit committee of SilkRoad, Inc., a venture capital backed multinational human capital management software company; serves on the board of advisors of Ultra Corporation, a private IT consultancy firm; and serves on the board of directors and chairs the audit committee of Advanced Life Sciences Holdings, Inc., a public biopharmaceutical company that has been inactive since 2011. He previously served on the board of directors, as well as the audit and compensation committees, of Interactive Intelligence Group, Inc., a public communications software company which was acquired by Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, Inc. in December 2016, and the board of directors of Merge Healthcare, Inc., which was a publicly-traded company until its acquisition by IBM in October 2015 where he served on the audit committee and chaired the nominating and governance committee.
