He has served most of his professional career within ArcelorMittal and its predecessor companies, Arcelor and ARBED. Between 2006 and 2014, he was Senior Executive Vice President and member of the Group Management Board of ArcelorMittal, successively in charge of Flat Carbon Steel Europe, Global Automotive, R&D and Long Carbon steel worldwide. He was CFO of Arcelor starting from 2002 to 2006 and occupied different functions at ARBED prior to 2002, CFO and Corporate Secretary.
