Dr. Ayanna Howard serves as Independent Director of the Company. she has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of robotics, assistive technologies and artificial intelligence in academia, entrepreneurship as well as during her decade plus long career at NASA. Dr. Howard is the Linda J. and Mark C. Smith Professor and Chair of the School of Interactive Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech”). Dr. Howard has been a member of the faculty at Georgia Tech since July 2005, including appointments as the Motorola Foundation Professor from July 2012 to August 2015 and as Associate Professor from July 2005 to July 2012 in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
