Jorge Alberto Awad Mehech serves as Independent Director of Banco de Chile since March 17, 2011, He has been on the Company's Board since 1996. Previously, he served as Director of Codelco Chile, Television Nacional de Chile, Laboratorio Chile SA, among others. He is also Professor of Management at Universidad de Chile, from which he holds a degree in Commerce and Engineering Sciences.
